Grant tragically bled to death after he fell on a VASE.
His neck was cut open by a shard of the shattered vase after tripping.
Grant's mum Helen, Dad Doug and his seven year old brother Calum are heartbroken.
He will be very sadly missed.

I live in Cruden Bay as well, and eventhough i dont know you i was shocked when i heard that such a tragic thing had happened,
That night that your mum and dad sat in an interview on the news, my heart went out to them.

What a beautiful sweet little boy - Grant
We are so terribly sad for the whole family. We all have to be strong for Calum and give him so much love after losing such a lovely brother. I know my cousin and his wife - Bob & Beryl (grandparents) will be such a support to Helen, Doug and Calum as they are the most wonderful loving family.
We think about you all every day and pray that you know Grant is at rest and looking after all of you from above - he will be in your hearts forever.

I had to write a tribute to little Grant. What a tragic story, it reduced me to tears. I believe things happen for a reason. My thoughts are with Grants Mummy and Daddy.Rest in peace sweetheart.xxx
